The Robin's Nest Bed and Breakfast is a 1914 Classical Revival home located on 1.5 acres atop a hill in the Heart of Mt. Holly.   It is conveniently located 2.5 miles off Interstate 85 with a quick drive to the Downtown Charlotte, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Charlotte Coliseum, Panther Stadium, and the Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Mt. Holly is a small town in the Charlotte-Metro area nestled between Charlotte and Gastonia.  It is close enough to be convenient, but maintains a quiet, comfortable small-town charm.  

If it is rest and relaxation you desire, have a cup of hot apple cider, coffee, or hot chocolate in front of  the fireplace in one of the two sitting rooms during cooler seasons or outside in one of the big red rocking chairs in warmer weather.  Pleasure your palate with homemade treats such as gingerbread squares, shortbread cookies or lemon squares.

Beds are made with 100% cotton sheets for your comfort.  Queen-sized beds are in all rooms except the Hummingbird which has a double-sized bed with a handmade picket fence headboard.  Each room has a television and private baths. Click here for more information about the bedrooms.

After a restful night's sleep, step outside your bedroom door to the aroma of fresh-brewed coffee awaiting you on an early 1900's sideboard in the hall.  Enjoy your coffee while getting ready, then come downstairs for a delectable full breakfast.

Take a stroll around the yard and enjoy a variety of birds feeding at many feeders on the grounds.  Located a block from quaint downtown Mt. Holly, a short stroll will take you to an antique shop, gift shop, salons for nail and hair care, computer store, or drop in at the old-fashioned drugstore for a milkshake.

Please note: No pets please, and children 14 years and older only.  There is no smoking in the house, but comfortable arrangements have been made for those who wish to smoke outdoors.
